As a participant in the Hearthstone Gold Rush Challenge, you’ll be required to report any Challenge progression and gold accumulated on smash.gg in addition to streaming gameplay on Twitch. To do so, follow the steps below each time you stream Challenge gameplay once the event is live on October 17th at 12:00pm Pacific.

1) Before beginning a Challenge stream, take note of your starting gold count for that session. When finished with that session, copy the VOD link of the stream from the Videos tab on your Twitch account.

If you're a new streamer, make sure to go to Dashboard > Settings > Channel on your Twitch account and turn on "Store past broadcasts." This is not turned on by default.

2) Make sure you’re logged in to smash.gg, and head to the Challenge event page at smash.gg/hsgoldrush.

3) Under Your Events, you’ll notice an open task labeled “Start Your Session”—click the "View Bracket" button to proceed.

4) Under Your Tasks, select “Start Session.”

5) Under Your Tasks, you’ll see an open task labeled “Start Stream.” Click the “View tasks” button in the blue task window.

6) On the Start Stream tab, paste the VOD link for your current Challenge streaming session, and click “Submit Stream.”

7) Take note of your starting gold amount for your gameplay session. On the Report Gold tab, enter your beginning gold count under “Start Gold,” and your end of session gold count under “End Gold," then click "Submit Gold."

IMPORTANT NOTE: For your very first session, you MUST input your starting gold as "0." Do not enter the value you received from leveling classes prior to the competition start.

8) On the Verify & Submit tab, confirm the correct beginning and ending gold counts for the session, as well as the VOD link, to ensure session submissions are accurate.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For your very first session, you MUST input your starting gold as "0." Do not enter the value you received from leveling classes prior to the competition start.

9) Your pending session will now be awaiting verification from the tournament admin. You do not need to wait on approval of your prior sessions to begin a new one. Click the "Start a new session" button to return to step 4 and begin a new session when needed.

Every completed session will need to be reviewed and approved by a tournament administrator before your updated gold count appears on the leaderboard. Rest assured Challenge winners will be determined based on stream/session timestamps, regardless of session approval timeline and gold shown on the leaderboard.

If you have any additional questions about using smash.gg, send us a note at support@smash.gg or DM us on Twitter @smashgg.

Good luck, and have fun!
